Pat & Dianne Brooks and Goldrush Campground are pleased to announce that the Council of the City of Dawson has voted to rescind the notice of Lease Cancellation effective August 31, 2021, and we will remain open as normal for the term of the lease until at least fall of 2027.
We wish to thank all of our friends and neighbours in Dawson City, the merchants of an overwhelming number of hotels, restaurants, stores, tour operators, and businesses, and all of the people who spoke up in support of the continued operation of this important component serving visitors to the Klondike.
Thanks also to our guests from around the Yukon, and in fact across Canada who let their opinion be known in favour of “in town” accommodation while they visited historic Dawson City.
We are so pleased to be able to remain open to provide a great location for our valued friends and neighbours and guests from around the world.
